This is the entrance to the Mellah (the Jewish quarters), in the Place des Ferblantiers. It is characterised by the storks’ nests that crown it. The gate is next to El Badii Palace and the souk that sells spices. It is also very close to the Bahia Palace.
The room is on the ground floor and opens onto the coolness of the central patio and the fountain. The bed is placed in an ancient eyvan (a vaulted 3-walled hall). The tadelakt-coated bathroom has a shower.
